Children in School

School is now back in session and children with books are running everywhere. Take extra precaution while driving because kids walking in groups talking might not be paying attention to traffic and walk out in front of your car with out looking. Slow down at school zones and watch out for school busses. Always look twice because children are small and hard to see. If you drive your child to school, make sure they have all their books so you don't get called later. While summer comes to an end, keep our children safe.

Imagination Running Wild

As children. trees can be transported into sailboat masts, bicycles are transformed into motorcycles, and a cardboard box can become a spaceship. As the imagination runs wild, children can go on adventures that are as varied as the children themselves. By learning to read at a very early age will help develop the imagination which will be used to discover new universes in the future. Help your child build a spaceship or time machine, and you too go go on a wild adventure in the imagination.

Children And Stories

Story telling to our children has been around since humans started walking the Earth. Stories of ancient conquest and adventure has always been handed down through the generations of time. Today's kids even tell stories to each other. Stories about ghosts, witches, and fairies are some of the favorites. There have been enough of these stories told that would fill many books. Imagine living thousands of years ago with no pen or paper, everything had to be known in the mind. Today we can read almost anywhere. There are books, newspapers, magazines, the Internet, wireless readers, and who knows what else. Living today should have the best stories possible. So keep on reading, expand your imagination, and tell your kids a story.

The Special Children

Getting away from books today, I want to talk about the special children. Children with special needs are all over the world. The schools do a good job adapting to their needs but there is only so much that they can do. These children are often limited to where they can go socially. Whether going to the movies or visiting at friend"s houses, these children are usually left out of the fun. If your child brought home a friend who had to use a wheelchair, would he be able to get around in your house? What about the bathroom? Do you have a bar for him to hold onto to transfer from the chair to the toilet? What about a mute friend? Would you be able to communicate with him? We are always so busy watching TV or some minute choir to get involved. Break the chain. Learn some sign language. Get involved in the community. In the local stores, are the aisles wide enough for wheelchairs to pass through without knocking things off the shelf? Is the movie house accessible? Get people involved and make some changes. You will be glad you did.

Donate A Book To Children

In today's struggling economy, a lot of parents do not have money to buy their children books. This would be a good time to go through your grown children items that have been left at home. You might not only find books, but also maybe some toys and clothes also. It's best for someone to get good use out of these items rather than be stored in a closet somewhere. Small children really do not care what book it is, they just want a book. So be generous and give a child some happiness.

The Children of Today

The children of today will be the parents of the future. Children do grow up to be their parents, so be the best you can be at raising them. If you come home from work, eat, sit down and watch television and totally ignoring your child, most likely this will be how they will treat their future children. So be noble, take time from your TV world and come out in the real world with your children. Both you and your children will be glad you did.

Sample from Space Flight

According to the ship"s computer, which was actually a laptop she borrowed from her mom, there was an atmosphere on this moon. Climbing out of the spacecraft, CJ grabbed her test equipment. They included a small bucket and shovel, and also a battery powered drill for drilling samples in the moon's surface. She put everything in the small moon rover, which was hardly big enough to hold it all. Being in space all alone makes time seem to go by very fast when you are busy collecting samples. After several hours Christine Joyce had collected some dirt, sand, and a lot of small rocks. There was also one larger rock which she had tried drilling samples from, but the only samples she got were 3 broke drill bits. This did not deter her though. Getting a hammer from the tool kit, CJ smashed the rock into several pieces, which now made excellent samples

The Day Of The Children

Children will soon be adults. This comes around very fast. Try to keep them children for a while. Give them books, play games with them, talk to them about what they like and want to do in the future. It is never too young to set goals. Let them play games that take imagination. Hide objects and give them clues to where they might be. Read a book together. Let your child read a page and you read a page. You might even enjoy reading child stories again. Children And The Fantasy

Children grow up in the land of fantasy and fairy tales. Ice cream trees grow everywhere and wishes always come true. There are castles that float in the sky and a cardboard box becomes a spaceship. The imagination can make anything possible. Developing this deep imagination comes from reading books and exploring the world around us. As a child, you should always be curious about everything. It is a great way to learn. So keep planting bubblegum bushes and enjoy your childhood.

Teach Your Children The Value Of Books

There is always a lot of competition in life and you need all the advantage you can get. Get involved in your child's learning early and teach them how to read at a very early age. Children who learn to read at a very early age do better in school and adapt to change better. Find out early what interests your child and let them follow their own path. Don't try to make them be what you want to be, this only brings rebellion in the later years.

Christine Joyce knew most of what had to go in the imagination box, and the rest she could only imagine. Since the land was off to the east, a compass had to be installed. A gyroscope was required for balance which CJ found in the basement under the workbench. There were two imagination filters installed in case one went bad. It also needed a camera mounted so imaginary pictures could be taken of the undiscovered land. There were also two lady bugs, a piece of rainbow, and her pink unicorn packed inside the box. Unicorns are very imaginative and are always required on long adventures. CJ worked on this imagination box all day and decided to try it out after dinner.
